CNBC

CNBC is the abbreviated form of Consumer News and Business Channel. This channel bore its full name till 1991. The channel is known as one of the most viewed audio-visual business channels broadcasted from the United States. It is basically a group of cable and satellite television business news channel. NBC Universal owns CNBC. The operating head of CNBC is also the NBC Universal. What this channel does, is that, it covers all the business oriented news and makes the presentation of live coverage of financial markets.

CNBC offers various programs based on business throughout the day including the presentation of reports on U.S. businesses, updates of stock market indices and prices of the commodities, interviews with CEOs and business leaders, and commentary from many investment professionals. CNBC is one of the top finance sites around the world.

In 2007, the network of CNBC launched its long-awaiting monthly news magazine. The name of the magazine is Business Nation. This magazine is grounded by award-winning journalist David Faber. The program covers three stories a month, a mixture of profiles, investigative pieces and features. The format of the news magazine is structured similarly to HBO's Real Sports.



The programs of CNBC is divided into 3 segments. Those are as follows:
