CNBC is the abbreviated form of Consumer News and Business Channel. This channel bore its full name till 1991. The channel is known as one of the most viewed audio-visual business channels broadcasted from the United States. It is basically a group of cable and satellite television business news channel. NBC Universal owns CNBC. The operating head of CNBC is also the NBC Universal.
